Disable & Enable Gmail’s New Compose mode/editor/interface

Hello friends today I’ll share a method of disabling and enabling Gmail’s new compose mode/editor. Most of my friends love Gmail compose but very few want to disable I do not know right reason but they want to do. If you’re one of them who wants to disable Gmail’s new compose mode/editor then you’re reading a correct article. If you have already disabled it then in this tutorial I’ll also cover how to re-enable it.

Disable Gmail’s new compose editor

  1. Login in to Gmail account
  2. Click on COMPOSE button › After that new compose popups
  3. At the bottom right side there is a drop-down arrow (More options) next to bin (Discard draft) icon
  4. Now click on drop-down arrow (More options)
  5. Now you’ll see very first option is ‘Switch back to old compose’ › Click on that › Page will refresh automatically
  6. Again click on COMPOSE button › You’ll see the old compose mode/editor › Enjoy Old COMPOSE interface!

Re-enable Gmail’s new compose editor

  1. Login in to Gmail account
  2. Click on COMPOSE button › After that old compose inteface will load
  3. Just check next to right side of Labels button there is text ‘Try out the new compose experience’
  4. To enable new COMPOSE interface click on text ‘Try out the new compose experience’
  5. Gmail window will reload and brief of new compose will popup
  6. To skip this brief click on blue Got it button › You’ll see the new Compose mode/editor › Enjoy New COMPOSE interface!
