Top 5 Android Apps to Take Your Gaming Interest to A Whole New Level

Apps and games are the main reason why we love the Android so much. Some gamers get satisfaction from kicks and killings, while puzzle freaks would rather sit comfortably on their couch and play Angry Birds. Things have changed a lot over the past 5 years, and right now, the apps we can download on our Android device gives us a whole new meaning to the word “gaming”. Here are 5 Android apps that will take your gaming interest to the next level.

Take Gaming Interest to Next Level

1. The Walking Dead

Officially launched this April, the Season One of the Walking Dead game had lots of positive reviews from the critics. In the Google Play Store, the app scored an average user rating of 4.5. As for the gameplay, we certainly loved that the main character-player was so intriguing. You are stuck in a zombie apocalypse and you must do everything you can to stay alive. Along the way, you’ll meet a new character, a little girl you feel the need to protect. There’s also a unique perspective in this Android game: you can choose to play the good guy, or the bad guy. This is free to play on the Android, yet you will have to pay $4.99 for the remaining seasons.

2. Impossible Road

We’re so happy that after one year of residency on iOS, Impossible Road has finally made an appearance on Android. The player is in charge of a ball in the game, and his job is to keep moving it down a challenging road. It almost looks silly, but once you start playing it, you’ll probably spent tens of hours trying to solve it. Controlling the ball becomes tougher as you advance in the game, so we can definitely call a delightful app well worth the $1.99 price tag.

3. Don’t Tap The White Tile

This is one of the most annoying games for the Android. And yet, we love it. It can take your gaming interest to a next level. Apart from being shockingly interesting, it’s also addictive. All you need to do is avoid the white tiles. The user has various “game modes” to select from. It may sound simple, but as soon as you start playing it, you’ll realize it’s infuriating. Winning demands complete eye and hand coordination, so to some extent this is a great workout for the brain, too. Do you have what it takes to handle all 5 modes – classic, arcade, zen, rush, and relay?

4. Epoch 2

This beautiful sequel to the first Epoch game is the epic saga of a robot’s quest to save Princess Amelia. After scattering the country in search of the person he was meant to protect, Epoch finally finds her. Unfortunately, he will stumble upon a war between robots (Alphetekk vs. Omegatroniks) and he’ll have to do everything in his power to save her. Epoch 2 was called”robot carnage” by game critics, and it will be an interesting Android experience you’ll savor. The game is available in the Google Play Store for $4.99, and from what we’ve seen thus far, the average ranking is 4.3, which is pretty good.

5. XCOM: Enemy Unknown

It’s a major release on Android. With an average rating of 4.6, this game is centered on a commander-player who is part of an elite military force – XCOM. After a group of aliens invaded the planet, the commander is in charge of building military posts, lead troops, and plan battles to annihilate the aliens and survive the terror. Enemy unknown also has a unique selling point – apart from killing enemy aliens, the commander-player will have to discover what kind of technology the aliens are using, and turn it against them. It’s such a thrilling Android app you’ll adore, especially if you’re a hardcore gamer.
