How to Create a Contact Form for blog with Google Docs?

Suppose you have a blog and want to use a contact form to get feedback from readers or customers. Then Google Drive / Docs is the most suitable option because both are free-to-use products. No technical knowledge or skill is required to create a contact form. It is just a 5-minute workout, and all data or queries from readers will be recorded within an “XLS” or ‘CSV’ file. Any update in this file will be notified via email or the attached email account. You can answer any query at your convenience. The main benefit is that your email will not be public, and you’ll get less spam in your inbox.

I have a video that will better guide you through this. In this video, I covered the creation of a standard contact form. There are some other options available that you can use. After finishing the form, you can embed it in a Blogger page or anywhere else, e.g., HTML sites.

Note: If you cannot read/view the video clearly, please enable high-resolution or full-screen mode.

You’ll also find in the video how to use embed code on a Blogger Page. There are two main things you should take care of.

  1. You must paste the embed code into HTML mode, not Compose mode.
  2. When you paste in embed code in HTML mode, you’ll have a right sidebar. There is an option of ‘Options’ with the gear icon. You have to click on that, click on the radio button given before ‘Interpret typed HTML,’ and press ‘Done’ to work the HTML code successfully.

I hope you’ll find it useful for you.

Before or after watching the video, you should open the Google Drive home page to create a contact form.

If you have any further queries, please leave comments. Have a nice day!
