The Chinese manufacturer Coolpad made its Indian debut in May 2015 with the budget Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 smartphones. The brand launched the Coolpad Note 3 in the country in October last year, which priced at Rs 8,999, was the most affordable smartphone on the market with a fingerprint sensor at that time. Riding on the success of the Coolpad Note 3, the Chinese company recently launched the Coolpad Note 3 Lite smartphone in India. Similar to the Coolpad Note 3, the lite version of the device also sports a fingerprint sensor, and is the cheapest smartphone in the country to boast this feature at just Rs 6,999.
